OUR RESPONSIBILITY

For every order, we plant one tree on the customer's behalf. As soon as the donation has been made, you will receive a confirmation email.

Have you already ordered from Chiaro?

After you have placed an order, you are included in our monthly list of donations to Project GreenHands. You may therefore have to wait until the turn of the month before you receive the email where you can follow your tree.

When the donation has been made on your behalf, you will receive an email with a certificate for the tree that was planted because of you 🌱

If you have not received your certificate, or have any other questions, feel free to contact us at kontakt@chiaro.no.

Project GreenHands

We donate directly to Project GreenHands, set up by Isha Foundation in India. The project was created to stop desertification in India, with the goal of planting a 1 km wide belt of trees along both sides of India's largest rivers — especially in collaboration with farmers who plant fruit trees. This way the farmers earn more, while the soil retains its moisture and the ecosystem is rebuilt.

Forest areas turning into desert is not only a problem in India — it is happening all over the world. The good news is that it is possible to reverse this development, and that small contributions really make a difference when many people contribute together.
